About This Website

This website is an offshoot of CerebralFaith.Blogspot.com. It is dedicated to The Cerebral Faith Podcast; a podcast about Christian Apologetics and Christian theology, hosted by Evan Neal Minton. Apologetics is the discipline of defending the truth of a Christian faith. This involves giving arguments and evidence that proves that Christianity is true (offensive apologetics) as well as refuting arguments lodged by skeptics that attempt to show that Christianity is not true (defensive apologetics). Cerebral Faith has been running as a blog since August of 2012 (www.cerebralfaith.blogspot.com) and Mr. Minton has written over 500 blog posts about arguments for God's existence, the evidence for the historicity of Jesus' resurrection, the problem of evil, and theological topics like soteriology and eschatology.

In 2018, Mr. Minton decided to expand Cerebral Faith's reach by turning it into a podcast. On January 5th 2019, Minton published the very first episode of the podcast titled "Introduction To The Cerebral Faith Podcast" in which he tells the audience what apologetics is, the biblical foundation for doing apologetics, and his own personal story of what got him doing what he does.

While Minton could stream every individual episode of The Cerebral Faith Podcast from CerebralFaith.Blogspot.com, he thought that in the long term, this would clutter up the website. So, he decided to make CerebralFaithPodcast.Blogspot.com (i.e the website you're currently on) to host the Podcast episodes, while reserving CerebralFaith.Blogspot.com for articles and papers. By placing all of the Podcast posts on a separate website, Minton can more easily organize the list of episodes for listeners over the long term. For example, using Blogger's "Labels", you can search for Podcast episodes for a specific topic you're interested in (e.g Arguments For God's Existence). Moreover, each season will have its own page.
